My cousin Jesse decided to be a Chicken for Halloween. He went to a costume contest and he won. Since he won he ran around with all the chickens my Uncle had.

Academics Shoot Reflection

1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get the photos following the rules I set out for you?
It was kinda hard because the classes i went to weren't really doing interesting things like I thought they will and there were some rules that wee hard to find.

2. What technical aspects of photography or the assignment in general (focus, framing, holding the camera, etc.) did you find yourself thinking about the most? Provide a specific example of what you did to do this correctly.
Framing and Focus were the ones I had trouble with because in the class room there wasnt really things that will make framing, and for focus I would try to zoom in and out and sometimes the way I like it the person or thing wouldn't really focus on it.

3. If you could do the assignment again, what would you do differently now that you know some basic rules of photography?
I would try to go to a class that will be doing interesting things like experiments or projects.

4. What things would you do the same?
I would hold the camera the same.

5. When you go out with your next set of prompts, which rule do you think will be the easiest to achieve?
Simplicity and Lines were the once i knew were going to be the easiest because its easy to find lines in a class room or like i got one from the Hallway and simplicity because its also easy to get a plane background.

6. Which rule do you think will be the hardest to capture?
Balance because I didn't really understand it.

7. What rule are you still not totally clear on and what can you do to figure out what that rule is?
I'm still not really clear on the Balance rule, I can practices trying to get pictures like that at home.

2. Whose classroom would you like to visit and take photos in?
I would like to visit the Science class.
3. What will you do, as the photographer, to get amazing photos like you look at today?
I would have to practice taking the pictures more than once so I can look at them and see what I did wrong and fix it then next time I would try to do it good.

Academics & Community Service.

1. Why did you pick this photo?
I picked this photo because of the time they took the picture, it was the perfect time because the paint was exploding when they took it and it made the picture look nice.
2. What rules of photography are evident in the photo?
I would say balance because if they would of taken a picture of the paint being still then it wouldnt look good like it does now.

Filling the Frame

This would be for filling the frame because of the explosion that's what fills in the frame and makes it look better.

Action and Emotion

This would be actions and emotions because it shoes how they have fun with there teacher and how they like him.

The Story

It tells the story by the way they took the picture. Its shows how students are helping out the people who don't have food.

Balance

Avoiding Merges

This is a bad picture of Avoiding Merges because the cut of people and it has a bad background.

Framing

This is a good photo for framing because the way the flag is standing in right its a good placing for all the items in it.

Rule of thirds

In this picture the part were it exploded is in the middle, if i picture the lines it would be right where I want it (in the middle)

Simplicity

The statue of Liberty stands out because of the smoke in the background, it attract your eye most to the statue than what is happening in the back.

Lines

In this photo the lines of the building makes your eyes attract to the man.
